Since 1924, Marc t. Nielsen Interiors has designed thoughtful, enduring spaces for homes and businesses throughout Northwest Indiana and beyond. Based in Suman Valley near Valparaiso, our small, experienced team brings a hands-on, detail-driven approach to every project.
We focus on creating spaces that are both functional and lasting, guided by how our clients live and what they value. From early planning through final installation, we help shape clear, well-executed results without unnecessary complexity. Quality and sustainability are central to our work. We prioritize well-made materials, restoration when appropriate, and design decisions that hold up over time.
Our in-house workshop allows us to produce custom upholstery, drapery, furnishings, lighting, and framing with a high level of care and consistency.
We also maintain a curated antique shop and gallery on-site stocked full of furnishings, carpets, and accessories from all around the world. We showcase artworks by both local and distant artists, offering clients immediate access to distinctive pieces. This furnishes us with an unmatched supply of beautiful, unique materials to use in our projects.
