Floor Plans

Starting at $450 per room

A well-considered plan is the basis of any successful space. This service provides a scaled floor plan with a furniture layout that reflects how the room should function and feel.

You will receive guidance on furniture sizing, placement, and key elements, along with recommendations that help avoid costly missteps. It is a practical and valuable tool for clients managing their own projects or wanting clarity before making purchases.

This service is ideal for those who:

  • Want to determine the best layout for the furniture they already have.
  • Are planning to purchase new furniture but are unsure what size and type will best fit their space.
  • Want to convert a room to serve a different function.
  • Are working within a set budget.
  • Prefer a DIY approach and need a clear starting point.

What you’ll receive:

  • A PDF of a CAD (computer-aided drafting) floor plan, formatted to scale, with a furniture layout for your room.
  • A copy of the CAD file for your records.
  • Size and dimension recommendations for all furniture pieces, area rugs, and related elements.
  • Guidance on placement of artwork, window treatments, and other details.
  • Confidence that the scale and layout of your space have been carefully considered by experts.
  • Additional layout options, if needed, for $125 per room.

Getting started:

  • Site measurements can be completed by one of our designers for $125 per hour within a 20-mile radius of Valparaiso.
  • If you prefer to take your own measurements, please provide a simple sketch of the room (graph paper recommended), including door and window sizes, wall lengths, ceiling height, and overall dimensions.
  • Email photos of the space along with any furniture pieces to be included, with their measurements.

Color & Finish Consultation

$160 per hour

A focused service for refining a space through color and material selection. We develop a cohesive palette that works with your architecture, lighting, and existing elements.

You will receive guidance on paint, textiles, wall coverings, along with recommendations that bring continuity to the overall design. Selections are made with longevity in mind, ensuring the result feels timeless rather than temporary.

This service is ideal for those who:

  • Are ready for a change but want to make confident, informed decisions.
  • Are moving into a new home or office and want a cohesive starting point.

What you’ll receive:

  • Custom-selected paint colors tailored to your space, furnishings, and preferences.
  • A detailed paint schedule, with 3 copies provided for your painter and your records.

  • Schedule a consultation at your home or project site.
  • Share any inspiration, existing finishes, or furnishings to be considered.
  • We will develop a tailored palette and provide a clear plan for implementation.

Design Analysis / Project Feasibility Study

Starting at $1,000 per project

“I know what I want.  Can I afford to do it?”

This service brings definition to larger projects before work begins. We outline the materials, fixtures, and furnishings required, along with realistic pricing ranges and local labor expectations.

The result is a clear understanding of scope and investment. Clients leave with a rough working guide that supports informed decisions and reduces uncertainty moving forward, or helps avoid a “too difficult” project.

This service is ideal for those who:

  •  Have a clear understanding of what their project goals are.
  • Need to clearly define their budget.
  • Are planning on taking out a loan to finance their remodel project.

 What you’ll receive:

  • An itemized outline of materials and fixtures required to achieve your goals.
  • Estimated price ranges for each category.
  • Local average costs for installation and labor.
  • A projected total cost range for the full project.
  • A digital spreadsheet that can be adjusted as selections are finalized, helping you stay aligned with your budget.
